Winged Elven Frog-Whisperer 'Clemmie' Woodlander Series OOAK Sculpt by Artist Ann Galvin

Step into Elf World and meet 'Clemmie' the winged frog-whisperer Elf, a new addition to the Woodlander series of characters by artist Ann Galvin of Elf World Creations.

Clemmie is a small Woodlander with big duties to perform. She is a Forest Defender and more importantly a frog-whisperer; her main duty lies with protecting the Woodlands from any threat and she does this with her trusty clutch of highly trained frogs, patrolling the waterways of Elf World. Clemmie is very contented on her tree stump with one beloved frog to keep her company.

Clemmie the Frog-Whisperer has been sculpted with my own blend of polymers and natural vegetation, painted with heat set paints and sealed with polyurethane. She has beautiful, mesmerising, green and gold glass eyes handcrafted by myself and is a 'one of a kind' creation having been entirely handmade without the use of moulds here at my studio on the Sussex Coast. She has beautiful iridescent film wings created by myself and is six inches high. She is seated on a natural wood base to which she is permanently attached. Her frog is removable and so can be re-positioned.

Clemmie the Frog-Whisperer will be accompanied by a photo authenticity certificate signed by the artist.

About the Artist:

The designer of this piece is a professional multi-media artist with thirty years experience. After studying Sculpture and Ceramics, she began her professional career as a freelance illustrator of children's books. She later returned to sculpture, modelling in clay, polymers and cold porcelain. She has exhibited widely at exhibitions and galleries and has been a member of many Sussex collectives. Her work can be seen at East Dean Village Hall every Wednesday morning.
