This is a 'one of a kind' creation having been entirely handmade without the use of moulds here at my studio on the Sussex Coast. Modelled with my own unique blend of polymers over a stone core which has been decoupaged with toadstool and butterfly design. Sealed with lacquer, Margrett has piercing black onyx eyes created here at my studio and a final dusting of blush. Margrett the Stone Elf is five inches tall and features a natural beach-stone body. This stone has probably been crashing and tumbling along our Sussex shoreline since before 1066 ...

Margrett the Stone Elf will be accompanied by a photo authenticity certificate signed by the artist.

About the Artist:

Ann Galvin is a professional multi-media artist with thirty years experience. After studying Sculpture and Ceramics, she began her professional career as a freelance illustrator. She later returned to modelling in clay, polymers and cold porcelain. She has exhibited widely at exhibitions and galleries and has been a member of many Sussex collectives.
