Elf World Creations is pleased to present AthynMerryn, a five and a half inch beach dwelling Elf Maiden reclining with a ShellDweller Urchin Elf rescued from a fishing net. Athyn is a magical being from ByeBeyond ... a Frozen Kingdom literally overflowing with crackling enchantment. She stays close to the Ocean at all times collecting beautiful treasures that others have discarded ... and just look at what she has found today ... the sweetest Urchin Elf peeping from her shell. Athyn is laying on the beach so that she can have a closer look ... a magical pair of enchanted Beings ...

AthynMerryn has been sculpted with my own blend of polymer clays over a stone core. She is a 'one of a kind' creation having been entirely handmade as always without the use of moulds here at my studio in the heart of the Sussex countryside. She has been gently blushed. AthynMerryn has mohair hair and arresting handblown silvered blue glass eyes created here at the Studio. The Urchin Elf is not removable from her shell and has onyx eyes and Wensleydale curls. AthynMerryn is just five and a half inches long and is designed to lay flat on her front.

AthynMerryn and the Urchin Elf will be accompanied by a photo authenticity certificate signed by the artist.

About the Artist:

The designer of this piece is a professional multi-media artist with thirty years experience. After studying Sculpture and Ceramics, she began her professional career as a freelance illustrator of children's books. She later returned to sculpture, modelling in clay, polymers and cold porcelain. She has exhibited widely at exhibitions and galleries and has been a member of many Sussex collectives. Her work has been featured in Dolls House and Miniature Scene Magazine and can be seen in permanent exhibition at The Old Loom Mill Craft Centre, Hailsham, Sussex.
