Step into Elf World and meet the second in this new series of Midnight Mice ~ Guardians of Time ~

Ilfredd is the King of the Midnight Mice. He is the Guardian of Time, keeping a watch on the movement of planets and heavenly bodies to ensure that the clocks of Elf World are set correctly. He is three inches tall.

This is a 'one of a kind' creation having been entirely handmade without the use of moulds here at my studio on the Sussex Coast. Modelled with Prosculpt polymers, painted with heat set paints before sealing with lacquer and featuring stunning blue glass eyes. King Ilfredd has applied mohair fibres in three lengths and is dressed in a silvered cloak, which is not removable. He is holding spare clock parts, just in case ...

About the Artist:

Ann Galvin is a professional multi-media artist with thirty years experience. After studying Sculpture and Ceramics, she began her professional career as a freelance illustrator. She later returned to modelling in clay, polymers and cold porcelain. She has exhibited widely at exhibitions and galleries and has been a member of many Sussex collectives. Her work has been featured in Dolls House and Miniature Scene Magazine~ www.dollshousemag.co.uk ~ and can be seen in permanent exhibition at The Old Loom Mill Craft Centre, Hailsham, Sussex ~
